Explore renowned South Korean artist Lee Bul’s world of print at her solo exhibition, showcased at STPI. Having accumulated more than four decades of artistic experience, Lee Bul is a widely recognised artist whose past works encompass various mediums, including performance, sculpture, and installation art.
A common knowledge about how the act of printing is traditionally executed is that it often involves the act of pressing ink onto regular paper. However at this exhibition, you’ll be able to enjoy the artist’s experimentations with printmaking such as working with unconventional materials – think copper powder and iron filings – pushing the boundaries of this artform. Enjoy 60 works over five new series, produced through the collaboration between STPI Creative Workshop and the artist.
Alongside the exhibition, there will also be a screenprinting workshop, as well as an artist talk.
