Kim Oliveros - Under the Same

Kim Oliveros’ first exhibition in Singapore sees the artist exploring the themes of identity and history through mixed media in Under the Same Dream. In his works, Oliveros links the traditional Japanese kimono to his childhood in a garment manufacturing district in Philippines, and from there, draws the idea of matriarchal dominance in both domestic and work realms.
