Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts

In the spirit of the Lunar New Year, head down to Esplanade to catch international acts returning to Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts. The festival opens with a star-studded cast in Godot Theatre Company’s Mandarin adaptation of Yasmina Reza’s hit play Art. Watch Taiwanese actors Chu Chung-heng, Tseng Kuo-cheng and Pu Hsueh-liang play three male friends who fall out when one of them purchases a hefty work of art. Catch The Drought Goddess: Dream Of The World, a production that incorporates dance, music and masks to tell the ancient Chinese myth of Hanba, the goddess of drought.
