Hong Zhu An’s Becoming and Being

Coinciding with Singapore's 55th birthday month amid a global pandemic, virtual art exhibition Being & Becoming by Shanghai-born and Singapore-bred artist Hong Zhu An aims to celebrate the human spirit in the face of adversity. The artist's fifth solo exhibition with the Ode to Art Gallery features over 40 brand new works. Painting with acrylic and ink on Chinese rice paper, his work combines delicate calligraphy, decisive brushstrokes and subtle but deep tones to evoke a sense of serenity and contemplation.
