The annual Goodman Open House is back again this year, this time bigger and better than ever. With over 100 different arts programmes, open studios, a pop-up market and an outdoor screening of the Barbie movie, expect an array of day and night activities at Goodman Arts Centre, Singapore’s largest arts enclave.
Unleash your inner artist and partake in a variety of workshops, such as transforming your old t-shirts into a vibrant piece of wearable art by using indigo dye at Felix Nai’s Fermented Clothing workshop. Try your hand at painting various Turkish floral motifs using gouache paints with Swayam Folkart Painting’s artist Swati Palekar, or check out in Artefakts’ linocut printmaking workshop, where you can carve a design of your choice onto a lino block surface and print it onto Japanese washi paper. Don’t miss out on the wide array of free performances, as well as the ART-venture trail where you can stand a chance to take home exclusive Goodman Open House merchandise when you visit at least 5 out of 8 stops in the trail.
As an added bonus, Time Out readers get to enjoy 20 percent off all paid programmes and workshops – simply enter the promo code “TIMEOUT20” before checking out.
Goodman Open House 2024 will be happening on June 22, from 10am to 10pm. Find out more here.
