Time Out says

The iconic Gardens by the Bay is a work of art in itself, with colourful blooms at every crook and cranny, inside and out. It's also home to more than 40 sculptures from around the world. To amp up the art-o-meter, it spotlights the interactive art installation Dandelion at the Supertree Grove every evening from now until November 15.

The brainchild of Japanese artist Ryotaro Muramatsu and his creative company Naked, in collaboration with Gardens by the Bay, Dandelion is part of their global art initiative which aims to foster connectivity and unity in times of separation and distance.

The artwork calls attention to the two-metre installation that stimulates the experience of making a wish and blowing on a dandelion. You can also make a wish by scanning the QR code and pointing your phone at a sensor that triggers the scattering of dandelion fluffs in a dazzling showcase projected on the ground.

This also marks the artist's first work that connects across international borders in real-time, an innovative alternative especially at a time when international borders are closed to the majority of travellers. That means people in Singapore and Japan are able to interact with each other via the dandelion fluffs. When "blown" from either ends, the dandelion fluffs that virtually travel to Japan will bloom into peonies there while those that "land" in Singapore will bloom into sakuras.

Entry to Dandelion is free, however, a maximum of five people is allowed to approach the installation at any one time. For more information, visit breathbless.com or gardensbythebay.com.sg.
