Arts at Esplanade’s Flipside

Go on a journey of sound without sight and learn about an ancient Japanese myth through a masterful puppet show in Flipside. This 10-day festival sees Esplanade transformed into interactive art and theatre fun house with unconventional performances, comedy shows and larger-than-life installations all around the centre – there are over 200 to experience, including a string of free events. Highlights include Sensing the Dark, a musical experience held entirely in darkness, and Urashima Taro, a puppet show supported with video projection and shadow play staged by award-winning UK company Rouge28 Theatre.
