8Q is the Singapore Art Museum’s newest contemporary art extension. Housed in the former Catholic High School, this multidisciplinary space is set to become a place for homegrown artists and the public to engage in a lively art exchange. The National Heritage Board recently renovated and converted the classrooms in the four-storey building into six galleries to showcase contemporary installation works, video and photography installation, performance art and sound art.
