To start off, don’t take your car—there’s going to be around a million people heading towards Yeouido to watch Seoul’s most explosive event. So, on October 8th, head out by public transport to Hangang, for the annual Fireworks Festival. Starting at 1pm with the Fireworks Village Program, the Fireworks Road running from Yeouinaru Station to Wonhyo Bridge will be hosting a variety of events and performances. With the Opening Ceremony starting at 7pm, gather around Yeouido Han River Park to get the best view of the dazzling spectacles to come. This year, 3 parties will be presented: Japan’s Tamaya Kitahara “Turn Your Magic On” (19:20 – 19:35), Spain’s Pirotecnia Igual “Magic Light Dreams” (19:40 – 19:55), and finally Korea’s Hanwha Corporation “Magical Fireworks” (20:00 – 20:30). A DJ performance is also scheduled to happen after all the glittering fireworks. Don’t forget to join the Clean Campaign and pick up after yourselves at the end of the event.
