Ever heard of The Little Prince? Even if you’ve never read the popular novel by Antoine de St. Expury, you’ve probably seen the prince’s face all over t-shirts, jewelry, notebooks, umbrellas and more if you’ve lived in Korea for a few years. However, it’s hard to argue that the novel’s popularity is undeserved or that the novel’s characters aren’t oddly soothing in a world that doesn’t necessarily embrace that kind of idealism. This winter, you can visit a whole village dedicated to The Little Prince at Petite France, the French village located in Gapyeong. There will be figures from the novel, a special gigantic star-like structure, LED light decorations, various performances, concerts and a magic show. Of course, “What is essential is invisible to the eye,” so come with a friend. Petite France.
