There is a simple black frame where the storefront should be. A tiny plate glued to the pillar reads, in Korean: Wooyeon Sujip. A wooden board hewn into the shape of a cat adorns the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. And these adorable words beckon to passersby: “I won’t eat you, meow. Enter, meow. Look around. Meow.” Anyone who falls for this ruse, and dares to enter, risks being eaten alive by the gods of reckless shopping. This is an accessory shop. Every item on display in this hand-decorated space is dangerously tempting. The space interacts with the displayed merchandise in an enormously synergistic way. You'll find toy soldiers, alpaca dolls, porcelain polar bears, ferris-wheel music boxes, and more. The toys here recall nostalgic images from childhoods long past. Cards, accessories, light fixtures, and pictures boasting unique illustrations are also for sale.
