Jaju used to belong to big-box retailer E-mart before pulling itself from the giant yellow building to explore its eco-friendly values to the fullest. Jaju not only produces products of craftsmanship, but thanks to its collaboration with E-mart, is adored by wallet-watching housewives for its realistic price tags. Often compared to MUJI for their similar philosophies, the flagship store in Garosu-gil is the biggest in the country. Kitchen and tableware can be found on the lower level, health and travel-related items follow on the first, fashion apparel and accesories on the second, and last but not least, beauty and bedding on the top floor. Reminiscent of a prim white house on a hilll, the interior in Jaju is fashioned out of natural wood, exuding a cozy, homey vibe.
