With their 15 years of experience, these two sisters and florists turned what could have been an ordinary flower shop into a rustic yet cozy flower café. Located in a quiet neighborhood in Cheongdam-dong, a coffee break at La Fete feels more like hanging out at a friend’s place with a beautiful, well-maintained garden. The shop features a wide variety of fresh flowers, dried flowers, and assorted accessories that go with flowers and plants. Don’t forget to take a look at the vintage objets from the ‘50s and ‘60s as well as the store’s signature straw hats. It’s fine if you don’t pick up some flowers. Unwind and refresh your mind at this secret garden this afternoon.
Flower studio Iamo’s third project, Your Public Oasis, first opened its doors in Hapjeong at the end of last year. Living up to its reputation is the variety of things it provides—from fresh flowers and dried flowers to terrariums, diffusers, and gardening tools, the store tops any other flower shop in terms of the volume of available products. That is because, rather than defining the store as a mere “flower shop,” it operates with the wider concept of “natural object select shop.” Cards made with fresh and dried flowers come with gift packaging that opens like a chocolate box—the perfect gift idea when it feels like you need that something extra to really surprise your date with a bouquet of flowers. The tiny flower ring that comes with your beverage order is a pleasant surprise.

Remember the “flower cone” that caught everyone’s attention on the cover of Kinfolk? The flower-on-a-cone idea had long been selling at Style Jieum by florists ParkJi-seon and Shin Su-jeong. While Kinfolk used fresh flowers and waffle cones, Style Jieum’s flower cones are made with artificial flowers and paper. With an ever-freshflower cone in hand, anyone could smile like a kid with an ice cream cone. The store also features other flower-inspired products like their canvas bag and flowerpot set.
