Uda’s menu features 70 items and counting, most of which are varieties of Japanese grilled skewers. Yakitori, or chicken skewers, may be more widely known but seafood and pork served on a stick, kushiyaki, are more popular here at Uda. The owner of Uda opened the restaurant after learning the ropes from a renowned yakitori restaurant in Japan, and has established Uda as Itaewon’s favorite izakaya alongside Muntaro. Thankfully, both restaurants are in close proximity—if one is full, simply walk a few steps down to the next one.
