Time Out says

One of Itaewon’s largest restaurant enterprises, MYK, which is responsible for the successes of Glam Lounge & Bar, Prost, B1 and more, has opened up a pizza place. Preparation alone took ten months, and after the unveiling of Pizza Muzzo, one can only wonder if it’s even permitted to have pizza at such an elegantly decorated space. They’ve collected interior décor from Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen and all around Europe. With tiles from Turkey, chandeliers from Belgium and china from Germany, this place is filled to the brim with a sort of “European ambience.” They collaborated once more with architect Chi-ho Kim, who received much attention due to the grand interior design of Glam. The outdoor pub area is especially appealing with its resemblance to a vintage European train station (and there’s a section called "Muzzo Casa" where you can pick up your order to go). Six different pizzas served hot from a wood oven, pastas, risottos, lasagnas and more Italian dishes fill up the menu. The first time we went to Pizza Muzzo, after Crisitian Gallarello from Torino, Italy was appointed as the head chef, it seemed as if they were still trying to figure things out. The calzone was not fully heated to the inside and the spaghetti vongole with eggplant cream was quite foreign with too much olive oil and too little white wine. Not fully satisfied with the first visit, we decided to give it another try about ten days later. This time, we ordered the penne arrabiata and Romeo pizza. The spiciness of the penne arrabiata was slightly concealed by the oily taste, but the noodles were well cooked. The Romeo pizza with truffle oil was sublime. The dough was crispy and topped with parma ham and fragrant truffle oil. We look forward to what they have planned next. It’s the ideal place to visit around this time of the year when you have end-of-the-year meetings with friends or are on a date. With prices ranging from 19,000 won to 22,000 won, it’s as reasonable as any other Italian restaurant in Itaewon. Pizza Muzzo is already inciting the curiosity of many—make it your go-to place in December.
