Bap Cooks is a one-woman operation run by a former designer who turned her interest in nutritious, simple cooking into a career. It’s a tiny, humble space decorated with hand-stitched stuffed sheep where the food manages to be both healthy and filling. The owner avoids preservatives and over-seasoning, serving up lotus leaf rice, salads and savory perilla seed soup. We particularly enjoyed the avocado rice, served with generous portions of gently cooked and lightly seasoned vegetables. With the clean mountain air of Buam-dong filling your lungs and the healthy food of Bap Cooks filling your belly, you’ll leave feeling renewed and rejuvenated.
