Located in the north-east part of Seoul in Nowon-gu, Junggye-dong, this musuem opened in 2013, promoting exhibitions with no definite borders in genres. Fine art, photography, design—SeMA is all about the public voice and experience, as the museum offers admission to all its exhibitions free of charge. Apart from two of their main exhibition halls, the musuem has everything from photo galleries to cafés, art shops, art libraries, and restaurants, but don't let the lengthy list fool you, as SeMA is a rather small museum. Near its vicinity is the local park known for its towering dinosaur sculpture, so make use of the neighborhood in its entirety and plan for a family picnic during the warmer seasons.
