Itaewon’s number one landmark of all times, the Hamilton Hotel is better known than visited. The Hamilton Hotel has not been the most inviting, as their walk-in rate was as high as 90%. In other words, the Hamilton wasn’t necessarily people’s first choice, unless it was due to last-minute necessity. Yes, it wasn’t. After seven months of renovation, their rooms are now furnished with beige wooden furniture and sparkling interior design. Their beds are as comfortable as those you would find in a five star hotel. With their tidy, welcoming rooms and restrooms, as well as their completely new amenities, the Hamilton Hotel has started anew. The wooden sliding windows in their suites that offer stunning views of Namsan are gorgeous. Compared to the rooms and corridors that went through a complete transformation, Hamilton’s lobby hasn’t changed too much nor has the façade of the building, which was built in 1973. If you have a friend who is looking for a place to stay in Itaewon, now you can recommend the Hamilton without hesitation.
