As the first American-style microbrewery and brewpub in Busan, Galmegi Brewing is now a household name in the craft beer scene in Korea. Opened in May 2014, Galmegi Brewing continues to grow with now a total of five locations in Busan alone. The successful duo behind the hand crafted brews is CEO Steven Allsopp and Head Brewer Ryan Blocker, who spent years as homebrewers themselves. The main brewery located in Suyeong-gu offers tastings of ten different kinds of beer as well as an impressive no-frills pairing menu, which includes fish and chips and hot wings.
