This Seattle Festival Orchestra performance includes “Night on Bald Mountain” by Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky’s “Violin Concerto in D major, mvts 2 &3,” Strauss, Jr.’s “Overture to Die Fledermaus,” Nielson’s “Helios Overture, op. 17,” and Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Russian Easter Overture.” Under the musical direction of Wesley Schulz, the orchestra includes young performers as soloists and orchestral players. Continuing this tradition, violinist Marie Leou (winner of SFO’s Young Artist Competition) will be the featured soloist.
Presented by: Seattle Festival Orchestra.
Tickets: $20 general admission; $10 seniors and students.
