Hey, James Francos:
What happens when writers' work is read through an anonymous submission system?
What happens when editors change every two months and when there are no intermediary readers and everything is transparently selected by one editor, based solely on their taste?
The James Franco Review release party will be on March 17 at Hugo House at 7:30 p.m. and will feature readings by contributors to issue 1 and 2:
Chelsey Weber-Smith
John Englehardt
Ahsan Butt
Jean Burnet
Dave Wheeler
Paul Vega
as well as a short reading by a Seattle poet that current editor Michelle Penaloza has chosen, whom we all need to hear more of: Matthew Schnirman and a blessing by Cody Pherigo
The event is free, and the bar will be open.
