Summer of Love Street Festival in the Mission

Non-profit It’s Your District is teaming up with Sunday Streets to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, the city’s countercultural revolution that lured young Baby Boomers to Golden Gate Park in 1967 with promises of free love and social justice. This week finds the special exhibition, hands-on art projects and unique performances in the Mission District, along Valencia between Duboce and 26th Street.
