Jobs that combine a love of wine and music are few and far between (unless you happen to be a rock star). Throw in a knack for storytelling and a penchant for road trips and you’ve narrowed the field to one: brand ambassador for Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co.
So what exactly does the gig entail? Hitting the road for 12 weeks in a vintage Cadillac DeVille to introduce consumers to celebrated California wines developed by winemaker James Foster and Grammy Award–winning rock band Train. Along the way, you’ll visit retailers, set up special tasting events and chat about the brand while raising a glass to new friends (chronicling the good times on social media is kind of a given).
As if sampling and speaking about top-notch reds (Soul Sister Pinot Noir) and whites (Bulletproof Picasso Sauvignon Blanc, for instance) with a fellow ambassador wasn’t enough of a draw, you’ll be getting paid for your efforts—this is a job after all! And one that’s for a good cause: A portion of the proceeds from Save Me, San Francisco sales benefits Family House, a nonprofit organization that provides temporary housing to families of seriously ill children undergoing treatment.
Think you’ve got what it takes? Give it your all at a casting call on March 27, 2015 from noon to 6pm at The Blackwell Files (3178 17th St, Studio 4) in San Francisco. Additional details (including how to audition by video if you can’t make it in person) are available at savemesanfranciscowineco.com/roadtrip.
