Embarcadero Trolley Tour & Exploratorium Visit

Time Out says

Join Market Street Railway and the Exploratorium for a special discounted streetcar charter and entry to the Exploratorium. This second annual collaboration between our institutions includes a guided trolley tour along the waterfront and a visit to the Exploratorium. There will be stops along the way for picture taking.

You'll ride PCC 1050 (built in 1948) with vintage-clad host Paul Lucas, a Market Street Railway historian and streetcar expert who will talk about the science and history of streetcars and have artifacts for examination.

Trolley destinations include the new E-Embarcadero Line route under the Bay Bridge. You’ll then roll past AT&T Park and through Mission Bay to 3rd Street to Metro East—Muni’s light-rail storage and maintenance facility, which is normally not open to the public! The return trip will go to Pier 39, toward Fisherman’s Wharf, and finally disembark at Pier 15, home of the Exploratorium.
