Earth Hour

Don’t be scared when the lights go out this Saturday night. Major landmarks, businesses – and hopefully you, too – will power down for an hour as part of a demonstration for action against climate change. Now in its 12th year, the event started out in Sydney courtesy of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and has now grown into a worldwide celebration of our lovely planet, with 7,000 cities expected to take part.
