The new San Francisco branch of the legendary East Bay jazz club and sushi restaurant has infused the Fillmore Heritage Center with a vibrancy not seen since the area served as a West Coast jazz mecca. The calendar of jazz performers both well known and up-and-coming is the main attraction here, but the extensive menu of sushi and other Japanese specialities doesn't disappoint. Book in advance and arrive early to enjoy dinner before moving in to the theatre for the show. Alternatively, you can dine before the later show and reserve seats through your server (if available).
