Time Out says

Founder Paul Einbund (formerly of Frances) went to great lengths to create this unpretentious Potrero bistro named for his father. The no-frills restaurant is nontheless stylish and warmly lit with flavorful cuisine crafted by chef Gavin Schmidt. Charcuterie like rabbit terrine and pate de campagne, caviars, cheeses and Tartine bread make for shareable starters, along with nibbles like grilled duck heart skewers and profiteroles with shitake and black trumpet mushrooms. Chartreuse features heavily on the cocktail menu, and the slushy version is a fun choice for starting or ending your meal.
