Bar César

It was pretty daring to locate César right next door to Chez Panisse, but it has more than held its own, despite the competition. It no doubt helps that the ambience here is very different (lively, thanks in part to the presence of a bar area), but the food, a collection of Spanish-influenced tapas made from high-quality ingredients, also impresses.
