New York-based women's club and co-working space The Wing is headed to San Francisco this year, opening a new safe space for gals to get work done (or even just take a shower in peace).

The Wing's current East Coast locations have been lauded for their Instagram-worthy interiors and luxe amenities such as an in-house cafe, a bar, a library, a yoga/barre studio, a podcast room, a photo booth, personal vanities with Chanel cosmetics and private showers.

With four locations currently open—founders Audrey Gelman and Lauren Kassan opened the first location in 2016—The Wing is planning a rapid expansion in 2018. Los Angeles, Seattle and international locations such as London and Toronto are also joining The Wing family this year. The date for all these openings has yet to be announced, but Gelman and Kassan are known to flap their wings pretty fast, if you catch our drift.

And that's all despite the fact that The Wing's business model is currently under investigation by the New York City Commission on Human Rights for discrimination. The details are still unfolding.
