San Francisco Restaurant Week is here and with it a bevy of fresh new tasting menus at affordable prices. Nearly 130 SF restaurants are participating in the 10-day event, which lasts January 22-31, giving diners a new excuse to try out new places and visit old favorites. Meals come at four different price points, but foodies on a budget will be especially intrigued by the $15 lunch option (two delicious courses for the price of your typical FiDi salad) being offered at these local spots.

Belga

Stop into Belga for a leisurely lunch with your choice of kale salad or celery root soup to start and chicken paillard or a falafel platter as your main course.

Ichi Shushi

Ichi's fun lunch option comes with your choice of Japanese-style hot dog (we like the kimchi dog), a maki roll and Ichi's famous Japanese potato salad.

Jasper's Corner

For a hearty lunch, Jasper's is offering your choice of fried avocado or crab bisque to start with either a grilled angus hamburger or vegetarian pasta as the main course.

Matador

At this taco and tequila bar, $15 will get you either two tacos, a bowl of sopa ranchera or an ensalada casera with either queso fundido or empanadas to start.

Oola

The tapas bar is offering not two but three courses as part of its $15 lunch special. To start choose between soup of the day and roasted beet salad before moving on to either squash tortellini, baby back ribs or fried chicken and waffles. A gooey chocolate chip cookie is for dessert.

Pescatore

If you happen to be strolling through Fisherman's Wharf this week (maybe you have friends in town?), Pescatore's lunch special is sure to be the most affordable menu in the neighborhood. Start with either a wedge or spinach salad before digging into fresh pappardelle pasta with crab meat or a grilled salmon panini on focacia bread.

Starbelly

Possibly the most decadent meal you can have in San Francisco for just $15, Starbelly is pulling out all the stops—housemade chicken liver pâté, a salad or butternut squash soup is only the first course! For the main, choose between a fried chicken po'boy or mixed Mediterranean plate, before finishing up with salted caramel pot de crème and cornmeal-rosemary cookie for dessert.

Stem

At Stem, engage in fresh, light lunch fare such as sunchoke bisque, garden salads, braised chicken thighs and roasted butternut squash pizza—two courses for just $15.

Tratto

Tratto isn't afraid to give their guests options. For the $15 lunch special, choose between a fried chicken, smoked turkey or eggplant panini or a Margherita or spiced salami pizza. No matter which you choose, the meal comes with Italians doughnuts with bourbon-caramel sauce.
