If you frequent Oakland Museum of California's Friday night block parties, then you'll love their annual dance party-slash-fundraiser returning to the museum this May. A ticket to OMCA's Ziggurat comes with access to an open bar of craft cocktails, tasty late night bites and live music by Oakland's legendary hip-hop group Hieroglyphics and DJ heyLove*.
Mix and mingle with cocktails on the garden terrace, stroll through the museum's newest exhibition RESPECT: Hip-Hop Style & Wisdom and snap photos in the photo booth. If you opt for dinner tickets, take a seat in the gardens for delicious bites by Barbara Llewelyn Catering. The evening also includes a live auction and fund-a-need and a special dance performance by Destiny Arts Center Junior Company.

The party goes down May 19th. Get tickets at museumca.org/2018/ziggurat.
