Live out your childhood daydreams at the Berkeley Kite Festival this weekend. Japanese kite teams will fill the skies with traditional Machijirushi-style wind masts. Attendees can also enjoy free kite making classes, which include how-to-fly tutorials, as well as food and drink from on-site vendors.
Sunday: Congratulate SF Marathon runners
The San Francisco Marathon returns this Sunday. Both the general public and competing athletes can enjoy after-race festivities and shopping from 8am to 12:30pm in Embarcadero Plaza.
