Gifted to the city by the late great Warren Hellman, the free, three-day music fest Hardly Strictly Bluegrass returned to Golden Gate Park this fall for its 15th year of bluegrass, country and folk music. The weather was beautiful, the crowd was eclectic and friendly, and the stages hosted eye-crossing number of acts including Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell, Nick Lowe, Neko Case, Joe Jackson and Robert Earl Keen, to name but a few. We picked our way through the park, listening and snapping away—here are our best shots from the weekend. Enjoy!
