Monsters of progressive metal (AKA metal it’s okay to like) Mastodon stomp through San Francisco once again with their suitably enormously titled sixth album Once More 'Round the Sun. The Atlanta hardcore quartet is massive in both sound and vision, evolving by subtly toning things down to contend with mainstream attention, compromise without loss of integrity. They’ll be joined by Oakland psych-rock outfit Mondo Drag.
