Day Wave at the Phoenix Hotel

You have been looking for an excuse to shimmy poolside at the Phoenix Hotel, and here it is: Local live music purveyor Noise Pop has partnered with très chic Joie de Vivre Hotels to present a summer concert series. First stop: San Francisco’s legendary rock and roll hotel is opening its fabled patio to the Oakland’s own Day Wave, a.k.a. Jackson Phillips (formerly of Carousel). The dream-pop master will spend the day exploring the hotel as performance space, culminating in an intimate live show featuring his debut EP, Headcase.
