Although the Bay Area is still reeling from the loss of beloved actor, comedian and philanthropist Robin Williams, we are more than ready to celebrate the man’s work with a 12-hour marathon of his best films, accompanied by the most amazing food prepared in a truck. After all, Patch Adams taught us that laughter is the best medicine and the big takeaway from Hook is that snacking brings people together. The SOMA StrEat Food Park is hosting this tribute with screenings of Jumanji, Good Will Hunting, The Dead Poet’s Society and on the big screen after dark, The Birdcage and Mrs. Doubtfire. The food truck lineup is TBD, but there will definitely be free popcorn and the beer garden is open rain or shine.
