Time Out says

The epitome of wine country elegance, this hillside resort offers a collection of sun-drenched rooms and suites, each featuring French doors opening onto private terraces, cozy fireplaces, complimentary mini-bars, Nespresso machines, valley views, and private soaking tubs for two. Located just minutes from renowned wineries such as Quintessa, Frog’s Leap, Chappellet, and Caymus, the Silverado Trail location offers the perfect balance of convenience and seclusion for wine connoisseurs. Their Michelin-starred restaurant is renowned for its brunch, and the uber-luxurious spa is modeled after a centuries-old monastery. Even the swimming pool is special, as the centerpiece of "La Plage," an outdoor living room strewn with oversized chaises and gauze-draped canopies over comfy daybeds. There's a sizeable fitness center, 24-hour room service, and picnic baskets prepared upon request for outings—though at this hotel, we'd be tempted to stay in.
