Pop's One-Year Anniversary Party

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, even after new owners swoop in and save the joint from its grimy glory. Pop’s Bar has existed in some iteration in the city for 79 years. As a neighborhood stalwart, locals were perturbed when the old gal closed its doors for a remodel but lo and behold, owners Michael Krouse and Tom Tierney have done a fine job of maintaining the dive bar’s vibe with just a bit of polishing up. Help them celebrate their first year of business with a bang — 10 hours of drink specials, live music and DJs to keep you occupied all day.
