Pop-Up Magazine presents Sidebar

The sensation that has swept the NPR set off its collective feet with ethereal live presentations that are equally informative and emotional is back in San Francisco. Pop-Up Magazine assembles the eclectic talents of writers, radio producers, musicians, photographers and filmmakers to create one-night-only living magazines—nothing is recorded, except in the memory of the audience. Sidebar, as they are calling it, is a slightly scaled back affair from recent outings at the Nourse Theater and Davies Symphony Hall. This is a brilliant opportunity to explore the recently re-opened Swedish American Hall; the cocktails are splendid, and the company should be, too.
