Dozens of wild fires have devastated communities in the North Bay, killing 40 people and leaving thousands of residents without a home. Many Bay Area bars and restaurants are scheduling fundraisers and donating proceeds of food and drink sales to help victims of the natural disaster. Here are a few places you can eat and drink this week to help out.
When: Friday, Oct 20 6–9pm
Rambler, the restaurant inside Hotel Zeppelin, is hosting a Fighting the Fires event in its colorful downstairs event space to help families who were displaced by the fire. There will be a silent auction and raffle, and a portion of the bar sales will be donated to fire victims.

Salt & Straw is opening a second SF shop in Hayes Valley this Friday, October 20 and 15% of the day’s profits from both locations (the other one is in Lower Pacific Heights) will go to fire relief efforts via the Redwood Credit Union and Farmer’s Guild.
When: Oct 18 and Oct 25 5–9pm
Gather in Berkeley is suspending its Wine Wednesday discounts during October and instead is donating 50% of all wine sales (by the bottle and glass) to the North Bay Fire Relief Fund, which is ensuring all donations go directly to aid fire victims and relief efforts.

Agave Uptown will donate 10% of all proceeds to support Northern California fire relief efforts.

Finn Town's Director of Operations’ brother, Matthew Parlato and his family lost everything in the Tubbs fire. Matthew is an active deputy with the Sonoma County sheriff’s department and has been working tirelessly to help others during the fires. Finn Town is suspending the specials on Wine Wednesday and is donating 40% of the wine sales to the Parlato family.

The Mill Valley trattoria will donate 5% of all sales to the American Red Cross in support of those affected by the fires.

The French bistro is Noe Valley is donating 25% of its dinner sales to the Red Cross to support fire recovery efforts.

The French restaurant in Glen Park is donating 25% of its dinner sales to the Red Cross to support fire recovery efforts.

Hakkasan is donating 15% of the proceeds from three special menu items (The Chinese Mule, crispy prawn dumpling, and green tea and apple choux bun) to Redwood Credit Union North Bay Fire Relief and Farmer’s Guild.

Feastly and Smitten are hosting an ice cream social in SoMa showcasing ice cream flavors from Filipino-American chefs. Proceeds from the $45 event will go to the Sonoma Fire Relief Fund.

Fringe, the indie music video dance party, is donating a portion of the door proceeds to the Napa Valley Community Relief Fund.

Marla is donating all profits from its Sunday Supper to relief efforts in Sonoma County.

The Cow Hollow bar is hosting a silent auction and encouraging financial donations. There will also be drink specials with proceeds and employee tips being donated to several charities, including the Sonoma County Humane Society.

Zazie is donating all retail and gift certificate sales to the staff of its sister restaurant, Calistoga Kitchen, who were affected by the fires. The restaurant is also matching all monetary donations.

The North Beach bar will have drink specials and a silent auction (including weekend getaways, Warriors tickets and winery tours), and 100% of all donations, sales and proceeds will go to the Sonoma County Resilience Fund.

The SoMa wine bar and oysterette is hosting a four-course dinner with wine pairings from The Withers Winery for $150 per person. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sonoma fires disaster relief.

The Absinthe Group is hosting a fundraising event with 100% of ticket sales ($100 per person) going directly to fire relief events. The event will feature food and drink from a line-up of amazing Bay Area chefs.
