Joseph Gentle created an oddly-mesmerizing coast-to-coast time-lapse YouTube video of his drive from San Francisco’s Ocean Beach across the country.
Gentle explains, “In June 2014 I borrowed my sister's Hyundai Accent, stuck a GoPro in the windshield, and drove from sunrise to sunset for four days straight--from the Pacific Ocean at San Francisco's Sunset District to the Atlantic Ocean at New York City's Jacob Riis Park--on a diet of mostly peanuts and kale stems.”
Gentle doesn’t appear to make ANY pit-stops, although he helpfully edits the video to give viewers an idea of locations as he makes his way to the Atlantic Ocean.
A tip of the trucker hat to Joseph Gentle for this extraordinary addition to the internet.
