Stinky corpse flower about to bloom at the Conservatory of Flowers

You've heard of the strange flower that smells like rotten meat, but now is your chance to sniff it IRL. 

A rare Amorphophallus titanum is about to bloom at the Conservatory of Flowers. Already four feet long, even though it's still just a bud, the emerging flower could be anywhere from six to eight feet long! 

Horticulturists estimate that the stink bomb will bloom sometime between June 13-15, and the Conservatory plans to extend their hours so that visitors can experience the infamous stench. Normally closed on Mondays, the Conservatory will remain open June 12 and June 19, and stay open until 8:30pm every day in between.
