Dressed as Dracula and craving some blood pudding? Or wondering what essence of ghost tastes like? Salt & Straw is offering scoops of their seasonal ice cream flavors for just $1 to anyone who comes into the Hayes Valley store in costume on Halloween.

Ice cream lovers dressed for the occasion will have their choice of 17 flavors, including classics like sea salt with caramel ribbons and chocolate gooey brownie. But it's the five limited-edition Spooktacular flavors that will have you ordering in bulk.

Halloween-themed flavors include:

The Great Candycopia: A tasty combo of salted butterscotch ice cream and homemade snickers, whoppers, heath bars and peanut butter cups.

Dracula’s Blood Pudding: A mix of spices and cream cooked into real blood pudding.

Essence of Ghost: A fresh sherbet so creepy and delicious, it’ll give you chills.

Creepy Crawly Critters: Not for the faint at heart, Creepy Crawly Critters features chocolate covered crickets and coconut toffee-brittle covered mealworms blended into a matcha ice cream.

Freckle & Hyde Potion: To capture the taste and sensation of Dr. Jekyll’s transformative potion, this cranberry sorbet is freckled with dark chocolate and a bitter melon coconut sherbet with coconut ash coated pop rocks.

All proceeds from the $1 scoops will go back to the San Francisco Success Center, a local organization that offers meaningful education and employment services for transitional youth and young adults. Happy Halloween!
