Is it a race? Is it a party? Is it an excuse to be naked in public? Yes. Bay to Breakers graced San Francisco with another year of raucous, costumed and city-wide partying over the weekend as thousands of runners and "runners" filled the streets. This essential rite of passage for any San Franciscan covers the roughly seven mile length of town between the Embarcadero and Ocean Beach. While plenty of people were competing in earnest—and we applaud them—we had our eyes set on the costumes and revelry that make each B2B a memorable one. We think we can officially say that SF does footraces better than everyone else.
