Club Waziema

Technically Club Waziema is a mediocre Ethiopian Restaurant but that's not why most people go. Club Waziema is better known as an old-school dive bar with red damask wallpaper that belies its age (rumor has it, it's the oldest wallpaper in the city). The long, curved bar has plenty of seating and, beyond the front room, there is an additional section full of tables big enough to accomodate large groups. The drinks here are cheap and strong and the clientele and staff are a laidback reminder of San Francisco of yore.
