This party promises to inspire both nostalgia and hope for our vibrant art scene as nearly 90 Bay Area artists converge in a two-night intertwining of glowing installations and immersive performances. In its 7th year, the Night Light: Multimedia Garden Party is both paying homage to and partnering with The Black Woman is God, the summer exhibition at SOMArts. The installations and performances are site-specific, using space throughout the facility to reflect the spirit of creativity and resilience embodied in the surrounding exhibit.
