In 2015, after just one year of operation, Rafa Costa e Silva’s restaurant earned a Michelin star. Today, it has moved to a new, even more exclusive location, operating for a select group (usually fewer than ten people per night) and has since earned a second star. The venue serves as a stage for modern experiments with Brazilian ingredients, cultivated by the chef in gardens in Itanhangá and Vale das Videiras, in the Serrana region, or sourced from small local producers. Diners sit at a counter with a view of the kitchen, where a sharp team choreographs the preparation of tasting menus (R$1,150) consisting of 12-14 courses. Following a global trend, the main focus of the dishes is on vegetables and greens, while still incorporating the freshest seafood and best meats. The menu changes daily, based on the seasonality of the ingredients. It operates by reservation only.
