Although it has this name, the space at the Arpoador Hotel serves meals throughout the day. The menus are marked by the transitional moments of the day. The Arp Bar follows the "feet in the sand" concept: tables right on the Portuguese stone sidewalk, with fresh dishes and cocktails full of Brazilian essence. The focus is on ingredients from small local producers, who supply dishes like Shakshuka (R$45), Thai-style shrimp (R$98), and rigatoni with pesto (R$59). There is also a list of sandwiches, including the Arp Burger (R$62), with Brazilian cheese, onions, and chimichurri. For starters, the popular arepas tostadas with cashew butter and jam (R$18) are worth trying. To drink, the Bloody Mary (R$37) and Caju do Forte (R$38), with whiskey and vermouth, are great choices.
