BarraShopping and NewYorkCityCenter together form one of Latin America’s largest shopping and service hubs — basically, it’s a paradise for shopping lovers and those on a global food expedition without needing a passport. Ready to dive in? While you're there, don't forget to check out the gigantic Christmas tree in the parking lot, standing 75 meters tall and decorated with 250,000 LED bulbs, created by Abel Gomes. The public will have free access to an immersive experience inside the tree to visit Santa Claus' House until January 6th.

Japan

At Jappa da Quitanda, the go-to dish is the Coral Tataki — a fatty salmon cut, lightly torched with truffle oil, cream cheese, fleur de sel, and tuile. The BarraShopping location is the brand’s largest, covering a whopping 600 square metres.

United States

Nolita Roastery is a giant playground for foodies, and one standout is the New Yorker Burger, featuring a Black Angus blend, cheddar, BLT, caramelised onions, and a special sauce on a brioche bread. Classic, but with a twist.

Midle East

You can’t go wrong with the falafel at Almanara, a São Paulo favourite now making waves at BarraShopping. Originally from Egypt, these chickpea balls are mixed with herbs and spices, served with tomato, pickles, onions, and warm pita bread.

Italy

At Giuseppe Square, which houses six different spots from the same group, you can’t skip the Spaghetti Mariana. It’s loaded with shrimp in olive oil and garlic, topped with arugula, chilli peppers, and mascarpone cheese.

Mexico

Burritos are a Mexican classic, and at Guacamole, the most popular pick is the Pollo Crocante Yucatan — crispy chicken cubes, pink pepper jam with pineapple, melted cheese, beans, and lettuce, all wrapped up and ready to go.

Greece

At Mii, don’t be surprised by the sound of plates smashing — it’s all part of the traditional Greek experience! While you’re there, try the grilled octopus with roasted baby potatoes and onions.

Brazil

Chef Paula Prandini runs the latest spot from Empório Jardim in Barra, where the crowd favourite is the Gruyère Cheese Bread — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and impossible to resist.
