Prague is a city jam-packed with extremely creative people. Sure, the population is famous for its obsessive love of film and animation, but there’s also a thriving visual arts and print-making scene. NeverEnough, in the shadow of Zizkov’s famously weird TV Tower, is a compact but very satisfying streetwear boutique, specialising in clothes featuring designs by some of the city’s most respected print makers. The nicely laid-out shop (which has a very nifty bar at one end) also functions as a venue of sorts, with DJs providing entertainment every now and again. A great place to swing by and chat with the area’s fashionable, laid-back locals (while sampling some of the country’s best craft breweries) if you have a bit of time to kill.
Time Out tip: well worth visiting during the warmer months, when tables are set up outside, and the owners throw the odd beer party. Lovely view of the park opposite, too.
Nearby:
Zizkov TV Tower: An absolutely bizarre-looking structure (covered in baby sculptures) that offers unrivalled views of the entire city.
BeerGeek: Also overlooking the park, BeerGeek does what you’d assume it does. A haven for people who love getting nerdy (and drunk) with beer.
Palac Akropolis: Alternative rock bands and live DJs play at this iconic and historic theatre, featuring a restaurant and bar.
